LeaderGuide Pro includes four types of Evaluation Content Blocks for Questions & Answers.
If you used Evaluation blocks in your Facilitator Guide and
included Answers for the facilitator
and assigned a unique LGP style to the Answer Text
You can easily Hide or Delete the answer text in your extracted Participant Guide.
To Hide or Delete Answer Text
Click Special on the LGPro ribbon
Select Remove Knowledge Check Answers from the dropdown menu
The primary purpose of this function is to:
Hide or Remove answers in Evaluation Blocks that you have included in the Facilitator Guide for the instructor
Because you don’t want Participants to see the answers in their Participant Guide.
The key to this working properly is:
The style name assigned to “answers” is unique and only applied to certain content.
If you are using the special LeaderGuide Pro alternative numbered list styles, then these styles are automatically assigned as “Correct Answer” text for you:
LGP Number 3
LGP Number 6
LGP Number 9
So these are the styles you would use to hide or remove the content from the Participant Guide.
However, the Hide or Delete function will work with any content in the Guidebook that is:
assigned a specific style name
and selected by you as a style to Hide or Delete.
Use the Remove Knowledge Check Answers dialog box to select the type of answer text to hide or delete.
With this function you can:
permanently delete or
temporarily hide
paragraphs of text that are marked with certain styles.
You can choose up to 3 style names at a time.
Use the pull-down menu to select the style name.
You must also mark the check box for the style you are selecting.
Then select whether you want to Hide, Remove or Show the content that is marked with the style name(s) you have chosen.
If you select “Remove” the content is permanently deleted from the document.
We include the “Show” option in case you need to reverse your decision.
