Take a moment to check your new Participant Guide
Compare the Table of Contents in your Participant Guide to the Table of Contents in your Facilitator Guide
After the Introductory Materials / Overview, the Table of Contents in your Participant Guide should list the same Modules and Lessons as the Facilitator Guide
Also
Look through the document to make sure that the Content Blocks you expect to see are there.
Remember that if you used a different Collection for your Participant Guide, the Content Block icons will look different.
To do this quickly:
Use the Go To function in the Controls group on the ribbon to go from one occurrence of a specific block type to the next.
If any of your expected Content Blocks are missing
It most likely means that the missing Content Block has a different style name than the block types you extracted – even though the icon may look correct in your Facilitator Guide.
This happens when one type of icon is pasted over another, rather than being inserted from Content Blocks on the LGPro ribbon. Because:
When you paste one icon over another:
the appearance of the icon changes
but the underlying style name (block type) does not change.
For example, if you extracted Key Points blocks but one or two didn’t come over, it’s because the style name behind the icon in those troubled Blocks is not Key Points (or any of the others you included for extract)
You can verify this by placing your cursor next to the icon and looking in the Styles box on the ribbon to see the style name.
For example, if you visually see a Check block but the style name is zLGPIconSay this means the original Content Block was a Say Block but someone pasted a Check block icon over the Say block icon
The best way to fix this is …
In your Participant Guide:
Simply add the type of block you need and paste in the content from the troubled block in your Facilitator Guide.
In your Facilitator Guide:
Highlight the content in the troubled block
In the Content Block group on the LGPro ribbon click the Content Block you need.
You will now see your content in the correct Content Block, immediately below the troubled Content Block.
Remove the troubled Content Block
Place your cursor in the troubled block
Click Delete Table Row in the Text/Table Formatting group
