Creating and opening Facilitator Guides & Participant Guides during the Free Trial
Always use the LeaderGuide Pro ribbon to work in your Facilitator Guides & Participant Guides
The buttons are grouped by functionality
Hover over a button on the LeaderGuide Pro ribbon to see a screen tip about what the button does for you.
To start a new Facilitator Guide or Participant Guide:
Use the NEW button in the Start group on the LeaderGuide Pro ribbon
Use Word’s SAVE function to Save your work
To open any files you create during the free trial:
You MUST use the Open button on the LeaderGuide Pro ribbon
If you receive a message asking for a password as you try to open a LeaderGuide Pro file …
Use the computer where the free trial of LeaderGuide Pro is running
Click the LeaderGuide Pro tab along the top of your screen in Word to bring up the LeaderGuide Pro ribbon
Click the OPEN button in the Start group on the LGPro ribbon
Navigate to and open your document - no password required
Once you have a license to use LeaderGuide Pro this limitation goes away
To share files you create during the free trial:
You must Save as a PDF — you cannot share the Word version of the free trial documents
Once you have a license to use LeaderGuide Pro this limitation goes away
