How to Import PowerPoint into a Facilitator Guide

Add Slides - Step 1
After you start & Save a new facilitator guide or a new participant guide, you are presented with a message asking if you are ready to add images to your document. This means either PowerPoint or picture images.
If you say Yes, you are taken through four dialog boxes that help you set up your import.
If you say No, the message closes and you can start working in your document. And you can add PowerPoint later, at any time.
Add Slides - Step 2
If you say Yes to question “Would you like to add images to the document now?”
the next step is to select the PowerPoint file to import. LeaderGuide Pro will guide you through this process.
A best practice is to open your PowerPoint file file before you start your facilitator guide.
Also, it is best to close any other open PowerPoint files.
Add Slides - Step 3
Once you’ve selected your PowerPoint file;
LeaderGuide Pro will bring it up on your screen,
along with a dialog box that you can use to organize your new facilitator guide or participant guide by Modules and Lessons.
Your Module and Lesson names will be:
Added into the Table of Contents that LeaderGuide Pro automatically builds for you.
Used to organize the content in your new guidebook.
Once you get into your new facilitator guide or participant guide, you will be able to:
Edit your Module and Lesson names
Add, Reorder, & Delete Modules and Lessons
Add Slides - Step 4
This is where you run the import.
Before you click OK to import you can select:
Your preferred PPI and image file format
Whether to bring in slides only, notes only, both slides & notes
Whether to import all slides only certain slides
Whether to extract slide text
Whether to add other LeaderGuide Pro content blocks as you import your slides
