This utility allows you to rapidly make your Word documents accessible for screen readers.

AuthorTec Accessibility is an add-in to Microsoft Office. It runs with:

  • PC Office 2016, 2013 and 2010
  • Mac Office 2016

How to Access & Use

Open the Word document you need to make accessible.

Click the the Review tab along the top of your screen.

You will see the new AuthorTec Accessibility button on the Review tab.

Use AuthorTec Accessibility to:

  1. Generate Alt Text for the non-text elements in your open document.
  2. Review and edit all of the Alt Text in your document.
