How to Use Zapps Pro
The Collection

Use Act'n DeAct to activate and deactivate your
Zapps Pro The Collection software. 

 

You can also use Act'n DeAct to find your software version number, purchase a license, and check for software updates.

To Use Act'n DeAct

  1. Click on the Act'n DeAct button to reveal the drop down menu.
     
  2. From the menu select the action you need.
     
  3. About Zapps Pro will show your version number.

 

To Activate

An internet connection is required. Have your serial number handy and ready to copy.

 

Open Word. Click on the Zapps Pro tab to bring up the Zapps Pro The Collection ribbon.

 

Click on Act'n DeAct. Select Activate this software. Make sure that Activate is checked in the dialog box that comes up.

 

Paste in your serial number. Click OK.

 

 

See a message confirming successful Activation. Click OK

 

 

 

That’s it! If you do not receive confirmation of success, this could mean one of several things. You will receive one of several different messages. If after reading the message you are not clear on how to proceed, please capture a screen shot of the message and send that to us along with your request for assistance.


TO DEACTIVATE

An internet connection is required.

 

Open Word.

 

 

Click on the Zapps Pro tab to bring up the Zapps Pro The Collection ribbon.

 

 

Click on Act'n DeAct. Select Deactivate this software. Make sure that Deactivate is checked in the dialog box that comes up.

 

 

Click OK.

 

 

See a message confirming successful Deactivation. Click OK.

 

 

That’s it! If you do not receive confirmation of successful deactivation, this means your license seat is still in use. There are several reasons why deactivation could fail. You will should see one of several different messages. If after reading the message you are not clear on how to proceed, please capture a screen shot of the message and send that to us along with your request for assistance.


To Find your Version Number

Click on About Zapps Pro on the drop down menu.


To Check for Update

Click on Check for Update on the drop down menu.


 

About Act'n Deact

When first loaded into your computer, Zapps Pro The Collection can be used for free for 3 consecutive days. The free trial cannot be extended.

After the free trial period ends you need to purchase a license to activate if you would like to keep using the software.

 

The important points to know are

To run the software after your free trial time has ended, you must have an activation key (a.k.a. Product Key) and Activate using the Activate function on the Act’n DeAct menu.

 

Unless you purchased more license seats for your single activation key, the key is only good for one computer.

 

If you want to move your licensed copy of the software to a different machine you must first “deactivate” it from the current computer and then you can “activate” the product key on another machine.
