Guide Sheet: How to Install LeaderGuide Pro™ 7 Plus

  • Downloading the install file may take several minutes
  • We suggest that you Save the install file to your computer and then run it

The install takes place in two parts:

  • PART 1: Prerequisites Check
  • PART 2: LeaderGuide Pro Software Install

Part 1: Prerequisites Check

The person running this part of the install MUST have system level administrator privileges to the computer the software is being installed on. Once you start the install process the Prerequisites Check will make sure that you have the prerequisite software necessary for LeaderGuide Pro to run. If the prerequisite software is not found, it will be installed for you as long as:

  • You are connected to the Internet
  • And you have Administrator privileges to your computer at the operating system level
  • If not, use the computer's Control Panel and REMOVE LeaderGuide Pro from the computer
  • Have someone with Admin privileges install the prerequisite software and then run the LGPro Install again
  • For links to the prequisite software please refer to the LeaderGuide Pro 7 System Requirements info.

PART 2: The LGPro Software Install

When the Prerequisite Check is complete you will see a dialog box letting you know that you need to proceed to you your desktop to finish the install process. You will complete the install from an icon on your (the user's) desktop. To run the LGPro Software Install

  • Logon under the id of the person who will be using LeaderGuide Pro™ on the computer
  • You will see this new icon on your desktop
  • Click on the icon to initiate the LGPro Software Install
  • Or, go to Start/All Programs/Great Circle Learning and click on the install file from there
  • Follow the simple prompts

When the install is complete you will see three new icons on your desktop

Click on the red Pro icon to open LeaderGuide Pro™ 7

Click on the turquoise Pro icon to open ParticipantGuide Pro™ 7

Click on the red question mark to open the LGPro 7 Instruction Manual

Or, use your Start menu

  • Start/All Programs/LeaderGuide Pro 7 Plus/LGPro 7 Plus
  • Start/All Programs/LeaderGuide Pro 7 Plus/PGPro 7 Plus
  • Start/All Programs/LeaderGuide Pro 7 Plus/LGPro 7 Help
